• 2008 BMW F800ST Premium Package

Biography:

2022 update: Added a 1000RR to the garage. 2014. Amazing machine.
First bike was a KLR650, had intended to do some adventure TNT riding but never got around to it.
Sold the KLR and just bought the BMW F800ST 2008. What a great upgrade.
I was frustrated on the KLR because of it's high center of gravity being a problem on twistie roads. I wanted to lean it more but being 6' 3" 220 it just didn't feel safe going as far as I wanted.
But the F800St is incredible, it wants to lean.
It's so comfortable and smooth that it's easy to just keep riding, don't like to stop.
14,800 miles on the bike but it runs and looks brand new. Awesome.
Even when I graduate to a bigger bike I'll keep this one as my sport touring bike option.
