Bought my red/white S1000RR in August 2015 at West Valley Cycles in LA and had it shipped up to Vancouver, WA after its first service. I've found it to be the perfect bike for this climate. I rode it through the winter and although the extraordinary amount of heat on the frame is downright scary in the summer, it is glorious in the cold and rain of winter. In preparation for our annual ride to Laguna Seca for Superbike in July, I have put on carbon fiber frame covers thinking to insulate myself from some of the heat off that frame...not quite as effective as I had thought. Even though, I love this bike!!! It is absolutely wonderful to ride!!!
