That's the answer I received this morning about how to install this app in 3 different devices.

    Dear Joan,

Thank you for contacting Sygic support center.

Sygic GPS Navigation for Android can be installed on up to three Android devices at the same time and can be transferred to a new device just by entering your product code /one time activation/

If you buy Sygic: GPS Navigation & Maps license, you can use application on up to 3 Android devices at the same time as long as you are owner of these devices.
If you activate license on 4th device, the 1st one will deactivate, 5th activation will deactivate 2nd device, 6th activation will deactivate 3rd device etc.
These activation/deactivation transfers are automated and unlimited - it is enough just to activate your product code on the new device.
However it's not possible to transfer a license from Android to iOS. The licensing system on the iOS platform does not allow us to transfer licenses to and from this platform as Apple does not allow such actions. The only way to have our application on your iOS device is to purchase it from the App Store / iTunes. This applies to all different platforms.

In case you have further issues or questions, do not hesitate to contact me.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Best regards,

    Veronika

    Enjoy.

I didn't find anything special about Sygic Maps worth paying for. I ended up installing Navigator and found the HERE Maps already installed on my Samsung Galaxy.

You might consider installing the TomTom map application. They finally included the "Winding route" option. I want to give that a test, knowing what I'd pick for a "Winding route". If it works as well as people say for the standalone GPS devices, I'll buy it.

Is there a "Winding route" in the phone app too?

I know that Rider-410 has this option. Well, by now Sygic works fine for me, even if I let the phone in my pocket I can hear the road number, that I think it's really usefull. The question is that I didn't know that it can installed it in 3 diferent devices with one license.

    Thanks for this info Chris.

    Joan

Winding Route is in the Android phone app. Set up your Start and End points, then modify the route. Along with choices like avoiding freeways, tolls, ferries, one of the choices is Winding Road.
