    Hello F800 mates!

I'm the new one in the F800 Club

I bought a used F800R a few weeks ago from a friend here in NewYork.

If someone wants to make a little tour.. You know write a little message!

I think it's a very good bike and i had much fun with it!

Someone knows where I can get parts for my new bby?

Thanks for your help and ride safe!

Welcome James and congratulations on your new 800R! Many vendors make aftermarket parts for your bike. Post what you are interested in, and likely someone here will have paved the way for you. Post some pics of your new ride and let us know of your riding history, and of your riding plans.

We'll Tumalo! I'm interested in some different grips - I have a 2013 F700! I'm looking for some different grips, "non foam" , a side stand enlarger , a cheaper one than the wunderlich. I'm also looking to get a back seat rest for my daughter to use when she's a passenger. I've noticed man guys use their panniers as a back rest but i've heard they can smack you int he back and hurt you something awful.

Welcome to you too Joey!! We've spoke already and glad to see you here. Put your questions in the F700 section and I'm sure you'll get lots of answers. To answer grips, google beemer buddies. Go to https://f800riders.org/forum/showthread.php/268825-Kaoko this thread and scroll down and you can see a pic of mine. A quality product. I use one of these for my side stand(slightly diff for the GT) https://advdepot.com/collections/bmw...arger-f800gs-2 As far as back rest, that may take searching. I've never heard of a top box smacking a rider except in an accident, more likely a passenger moves into it, but it would be rare. There are some back rests that would bolt to a rear rack. Kill 2 birds with one stone by getting a BMW softbag 2 tailbag. it has a pretty sturdy surface to use as a back rest and would give room for drinks, clothes, or whatever for daily trips. They occasionally come up on the flea markets or ebay at a good price.
