So my photo timeline came up that 11 years ago today I was in Deals Gap riding the Dragon and Fontana, NC for the F8 Rally. I have to say it was a great trip and that I cherish the memories. Just learned today that one of my coworkers lives in the area and is headed for a ride to the Dragon. Perhaps a trip next year to meet up.

An F800 rally would be awesome. There were only a handful at the national MOA rally and just as few at every local/state rally that I have been to.

Agreed. I was able to attend the Cass Rally and the Deals Gap/Fontana one and they were each a great time. Met a lot of good people who rode F8s.

I have over 15,000 miles for the year, and much has been rallies...just not BMW rallies. It's always good to ride and put faces to names.
And no matter where it is, the trip to and from is an opportunity to see new things and ride some great roads.
