F650/800GS, New Revision

We had some issues with first production rev. They are now fixed and new revision will be available soon.

Currently engaged in final series of tests, both fitment and stress analysis of new revision, before beginning production for PIAA Powersports and my general use version.

Significant changes include reduced size mounting platform for lamp and increased thickness/of metal, including double the length of the previous bend area where fatique problems produced failures. Metallurgy and stress analysis techniques utilized for guidance and confirmations of required changes.

Another announcement will be forthcoming when kits are available. Should be within 3-weeks.

From PIAA Photo shoot. Will be avail from PIAA Powersports, or from BMW dealer for my standard kit. Production should begin 1st week of January.

This is a stand alone unit? Is this the new Cross Country light or something completely new and different? I just upgraded my lights recently and went with a low beam upgrade for 99$, it was a bit difficult filtering all of the information that is on the web regarding hid's but the more info obtained can't hurt. What is the cost/ warranty? The nice thing about my purchase is the fact that it is guaranteed for life, i bought the kit from http://1offmotorsports.com/
I am vary pleased with the kit so far however if what you are offering is significantly better it might be worth my time to return and buy new although not sure how or if that is possible just thought i would ask. Let me know.
