I have the Fastway F3 pegs. I did not add the cleats, instead I used the rubber inserts I had from the stock pegs and got another set - each Fastway takes two rubber inserts. The brake pedal is okay to reach, the shifter is a bit different. I use a 5mm longer Hammerhead shifter now. This works quite well for me.

thanks for the quick response. If you mount the pegs in the higher position, is the stock gear shifter ok?

Also, was reading about your windshields....are you still using the ADV screen and happy with it? Do you mind if I ask how much all of the parts required cost?

I paid $180 or so for the windshield, $150 for the mounting parts (from Cee Baileys - those are the original mounting parts). Still happy with it, still using it in combination with the Touratech spoiler.

If you mount the pegs in the high position, the stock shifter is okay.

Cug, How's the bike? Any new mods to report?

I haven't done much on the GS in the last few months. It's pretty much perfect for me at the moment. At some point I'll put a different seat on but other than that I'm not planning any more changes for now. Just riding.
