Best video camera for motorcycle

I use Drift Stealth 2, both as everyday commuting camera and also to record my 'actions'. I must say it a decent piece of a camera. It's small and aerodynamic, so there is no danger that it would distract you or make some discomfort - I mean when it's mounted on the helmet as I use it. Also it has rotating lens so you may mount it on top or any side.

A couple years ago, I picked up a Sena 10C bluetooth headset and camera. It works well...with one caveat.

I like how it is about the same size as the Sena 20S headset alone and still includes a camera. It doesn't stick up on top of the helmet like a box.

I use the camera on a day-to-day basis as a "dash" camera in case someone cuts me off and I go into the ditch. On a trip, I use it to capture the moments where it isn't convenient to pull over for a picture with a better camera. The Sena 10C will capture both video and still photos while recording. In both cases, I set the video recording mode to "loop", which will pick up 5 minute recordings. When the SD card fills up, it'll keep recording and write over the oldest file. A 32GB SD card will take care of an entire day's riding. The 5 minute file sizes are also easier to deal with. I can easily scrap the files that aren't worth saving and keep those I want to save without dealing with a huge file that needs to be edited.

My one issue is I think my Sena 10C has developed an internal memory error. I can't really be upset. I've used it daily for over two years now in every kind of riding environment you can think of. I have to reset it often to get it to work. I'll probably either get the new Sena 10C EVO when it comes out this fall, or buy another of the Sena 10C on ebay for a discount. I still need a Bluetooth capability, and I like the idea of having a camera. There's not another product that seems like it'll give me what I'm finding here.

Any recommendations on a Hemet/Bike Camera. Not looking to spend more than £150.I did read this post but looks like quite a few of the posts are quite old. Any suggestions appreciated

I've been using GoPro Hero Motorsport and RAM mount for a month now and am pleased with its performance.

There are set backs (but I am ok with it):
1. Battery life varies depend on usage. By default: 2hrs 15mins.
2. There isn't any viewfinder so you have to estimate its view. Rest assured, they created it in Fish Eye view and 170 degrees wide. So, most angle covered.
3. Required bright surroundings to capture good quality video. Night tine in Singapore, ok ok only.. I wouldn't say its bad.

Good things:
a. Comes with waterproof casing with a depth of 60 meters - Rode under heavy downpour before - no leakage.
b. Includes helmet harness & 2 super strong adhesive flat & 2 contour bases- these bases are for you to mount on your helmet.
c. 3 pivot arms for extension.
d. 5 recording modes, mainly WVGA or HD with wither 4:3 or 16:9.
e. Able to capture pictures in burst mode or by timer.
f. A lot of accessories to purchase e.g. LCD Monitor Pac, Battery Pac etc..
g. You can do a software upgrade via GoProh. Tried riding at 160km/hr, videos are still sharp, not pixellated or lagged.

I recently bought a cheap dual dash cam setup off fleabay.its more of a recording for accidents.the quality of the video is not the best but acceptable and the continuous loop recording makes it a install and forget kinda thing,just pop out the sd card and view when necessary.

I still want a BT and camera combination like my Sena 10C. And there's hope for the upgraded versions, since Sena has discontinued the 10C. Which I'm hoping means the 10C Pro or 10C Evo will be released soon.

But if I was looking for a "Hero" style camera, I think I'd try one of the eBay ones from China.
