A very good friend drove to Kieler's Store in Dickeyville, Wisconsin for some essentials. He brought back two cases of Wisconsin Tea for yours truly. Met him in the parking lot of a local (Iowa) watering hole for the socially distanced exchange of cash and brew. Tonight I'll be drinking New Glarus Spotted Cow.

Vodka Martini with to very large olives...4:00 pm

Now that warmer weather has begin to come.

4:00pm cocktail, a Martini made with Plymouth gin with a touch of Martini & Rossi extra dry Vermouth with two large olives.

I was able to visit the Plymouth Distillery while waiting to pick up an overnight ferry to Roscoff, France. The distillery building was where the first Pilgrims gathered before heading out on the Mayflower. It was also bombed during WW II.

I visited Plymouth Rock here in the states while I was young. So visiting the distillery in Plymouth ,Uk was kind of a full circle for me.

And they make damned good gin.....
