BS! you seem to forget we have to cross the Great Nation of Texas to get there. Not a task for the weak of heart. I'm not sure I've got enough free time to do that and I'm retired!

I know what the partying is like in NOLA, but what are the roads like? Strikes me like it would be flatland. I could be wrong as do not think I ever left a 5 mile radius of Bourbon Street on my visits.

The whole point of the rally is the ride to and from the rally. I'm sure anyone can find nice rodes in and out of New Orleans. Once there it's reconnect with old friends, meet new friends, eat, drink, & drink some more. Over 1/2 of this years rally attendees took a cab to and from the Saturday night dinner. Oh and about the ride from Texas. My sister has MS and rode across Texas on her Vespa 
........just sayin.

Some one told a friend of mine it took him 3 days to cross Texas. My friend replied, Yeah I had a car like that once too.
