I like the looks of the higher placed cylinders. I hope it will not affect the COG too much but I guess the difference will be little.

I thought that was kind of neat as well. They do not seem to stick out as much either IMHO

    1) Spoked wheels where never a feature of the standard GS. Always a paid option, standard on the GSA.
    2) The cylinders stick out about as much as they did on my GS, I don't think there is much difference. Just higher. CoG will be higher with that.
    3) Water cooling will make the engine likely heavier, brings down the CoG, but makes the bike itself heavier.

I like it, except for the fairing/neb that looks too large and short, like the multistrada and the new tiger.

It looks good, I also like the higher placement of the cylinders. Question for the ADV riders tho, will going to the liquid cooled engine now make the older air cooled models that much more desirable, or is this a welcome change? The GSA is a great bike, but it's a beast. Harkening back to the enduro days it was a 125cc for me......

    1) Spoked wheels where never a feature of the standard GS

Short term memory loss or don't know squat about BMW's! My 1989 R100GS had spoke wheels. Tubeless even. Spoke wheels are much stronger than the cast POS wheels.
When a pot hole will severely dent and disfigure your cast wheels the spoked ones will keep going.
