Fitted this Sat Nav but need to know how to connect to 12v system on my f800gt 2017. Can it connect direct to battery and does it need a breaker(fuse)?

It does not need a fuse (although it would not hurt) b/c as I understand it, the TT motorcycle mount has a built in electronic breaker. There is a switched lead on the GT tied to the wiring loom on the right side of the bike near the steering head, there's a thread on this site showing it...somewhere.

That said, b/c I was going to power other things, I put a PDM 60 wired to the battery and triggered by that factory lead, and wired my 550 to a switched lead on the PDM.
