Anyone have any experience with some "distance" tires???

I am considering having two sets of buns for the RR. I will be using it for longer trips as well as playing so I was considering something like a set of Roadsmarts to mount when I am going for a long one.

Any opinions/experience out there with this?

Try the Michelin Pilot Road 4. I have yet to run it on my new-to-me '12 1krr, but I ran them religiously on my commuter vfr 800 and they regularly got between 5k-7k mi between swapping shoes.
