I will be documenting in this thread, the fork spring swap I will be doing, as well as the manufacture of a home-made cartridge fork spring compressor. I will be replacing the stock Sachs springs with heavier rate Ohlins ones.
The spring compressor couldn't be easier, it is just a ring with opposing handles you can screw into the coil, and a slotted plate to hold the spring back while you remove the jam nut.
